First of 2013

Its 23:45 and the countdown's begun, waiting for the much awaited ball drop to happen;
Every second passes as we blink our eyes, anticipation and excitment thrives in everybody's hives.
I clear my mind to go back in time, remembering the moments that happened to fly,
Time flies by pretty fast though i realized not much was accomplished off the list i had furnished.

But then there were also those moments when time pauses and looks you in the eye,
It lets you relish the epic journey, one we had not planned for , neither anticipated.
I came back to my senses and wished to time, with just a few minutes remaining,
I wanted no more than for the day to come, when i would have you by my side.

I close my eyes and my heart smiles reminiscing the moments of the past year,
I shake my head with the biggest smile on my face and ask myself "How did i get you? :)"
You drift on my memory like the aroma of incense, elevating me to a different world,
refreshing my senses and making me feel stronger and better than ever before.

You never hesitate to share words of love, appreciation, approval, praise, encouragement,
It still does me in completely.  The joy of it never wears off. It is for you someone special,
These words that I express, To thankyou for always being there for me.

Another year begins with a new milestone to reach,
we have been growing stronger with all the hardships breached,
I open my eyes as the clock strikes 12, with the smile still stronger than before and wish myself,
I am lucky to have met you through my journey from the year to go,
and shall abide by our promises to be and to make things better for us as we give life a go!! ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Expect The Unexpected! - That makes a complete LiFe.

Life is full of many ups and downs, moments of inconceivable joy, tremendous suffering, utter boredom, yet in the end it is all part of a beautiful ride. Most of us have a conscious mind, but what we do not realize is, its one of our greatest enemies. Because the way in which our minds work, we perceive the world in a way that keeps us from actually experiencing it in it’s totality. It works through memory, from logic, and even if we are crazy, the way in which we think may still seem logical to us. Dropping any expectations and going with the flow should allow us to be in harmony with existence, even if it seems irrational and wierd. Life unfolds in miraculous ways the moment you embrace it, you expect the unexpected unexpectedly. I feel with each day its an opportunity to learn something new.

Being in love is one thing . . Being happy in love is another thing . . It is easy to be in love . . Everything seems beautiful and full of happiness . . Every fault seems too small and easily forgiven . But sometimes we tend to screw up, and thats because you expect. The more you expect, the more you feel disappointed and the more you feel disappointed the more things go awry. Having great expectations sounds great but when the expectations are not fulfilled , we become disappointed .

That is the problem ! Disappointments will suck out the happiness. No expectations , fewer disappointments ! It's that simple. Not easy but simple . Try it :) You can't change others , so why do you want to change, its not change that fuels the desire to understand each other or to be in perfect harmony in love, but its the feeling of mutuality and understanding and trying to be the way you are.  Just dont take things seriously. Take it easy. Try to understand the other better . Talk more often.

If you are afraid of something, speak it out loud. The more you run away from your fears, the more you will be hounded by it. Instead, if you trust then let go. There will be a hand to hold you if you fall, a shoulder for you to rest if you are tired and a shadow to follow if you are lonely. Thats the blissfulness to what you feel when you do not expect.  If you want something , ASK ! Nobody can read your mind.

Your incharge of your own life. You want a happy life , work for it. You want a happy love , work for it too. When you are in harmony, you are able to let go of your expectations of how life should be, and be fully available to what life actually is. See where life takes you, enjoy the ride.

Sure it makes logical sense to make definite and specific plans and to achieve those plans, but for me life has always been more fulfilling when it is approached with no previous expectations. Just having a curious attitude, like that of a child filled with eyes of wonder, wanting to explore a world that is unknown to him.

You live life instead of thinking about how to live. Just like the tag line from Leo Babauta’s blog…smile, breath, and go slowly…that pretty much sums it up.

Angel eyes

When he met you, he never knew,
he would fall for something so brown in hue,
The world shuns away from its glories,
the moment he speaks to them your stories.

For he forgets his stance,
the moment he has a glance of those beady eyes,
with the shallowness of the sea's,
he looses sight of everything around,
with a feeling of being drowned.

The eyes of an Angel he had seen today,
chills running down his arms, not knowing what to say,
behind those beautiful eyes, lies the most divinest of souls,
warm and passionate, but not everyone knows.

His heart was stolen, in the most modest way,
she makes him soar when he is down,
and when frozen he feels all warm,
they shine so bright in the darkness of the night,
he just feels to sit and stare , in her sweet angel eyes.

Autumn sunshine in Spring

That is how i have been feeling lately, the feeling of compassion wiped out by the true solace found in the warmth of a smile that speaks wonders.

Thought i realized what it was, but no i haven't.
The divinity that radiates from your soul, sweeps me up to a third world
when you wish upon a star, it makes no difference who you are
if your heart is in your dream no request you make is too extreme.

Like a bolt of lightning, fate stepped in and she saw me through,
Life's Mystic ways, for one to travel and unfold,
gave me a chance to travel the less trodden by two folds.
A place where i found bliss and behold the pure solace,
long i stood , looking down the path that she led me through.

I saw things clear and blue , just like the deep blue sky with no gloomy clouds,
right to the point called horizon where the sky touched the grounds.
I couldn't relieve more so unable to revive, as the time spent with you just passes by,
Many a times spirits spoke the truth to my heart, as i disregarded their words and pleas,
But were they able to bring the sweet joy into my world?, the kind of which i had never known.
What made alive in me that subtle change, was the song that i only know,
which keeps singing happily to me your name.

You are all the things that I find to be sweet, especially those that make me smile in every way.
I have finally found the peace, that my heart did really need,
I have finally found a quiet place, in which my tired mind could flee.
And so this is how my journey began under the autumn sunshine in spring,
but now i know it is true, when you wish upon a star,
     Your dreams do come true.

DEDICATION TO THE MOST DEDICATED FRIEND I COULD EVER HAVE!!

Wiki says A Soul Mate is believed by some to be the person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity, similarity etc., Richard Bach says- "A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise". But, I say what if the key is lost?? We do not get our soulmate? As per Wiki (again) human sex ratio is 101 males to 100 females and also an scientific assumption that 105 boys to 100 girls. Now, does this means that those 5 guys do not find the soul mate?? I'd say its an old funda made just to convince ourselves that out there we have someone made "only" for us, our soul mate.

Its amazing how we fell in love for the first time and felt "Yes, he/she is the one, he/she is my Soulmate" but later, what went wrong??? Did the lock find another key?? Or the key was unable to open the lock at all?? Were they just runner-up contestant in this show called Happily ever-after?? Werent we truest selves to them or were we just pretending?? Have we lost our soulmate or is there another soulmate made for us?? And if we dont find one?? Are we going to wander our entire  life in a search of one??

Well, it could be just our perception. I cant help but believe I have got more than one soul mate. I can be my truest self to my soul mates. I cannot and dont pretend to be someone else with them and it is safe enough for me to open my lock with them. I have lots of similarites with them and a feeling of deep natural affinity- "My friends are my Soul mates" :) I live in a generation where I have learnt and truely believed "one key fits all". They are my Master Key and I am sure they are your master keys too!

To You Mom

We have been living in the house since the day that we was born,
Those walls have seen us happy, of all the ways you cared for us,
You were a gift divine and made us grow up to be strong.
You were up all night with a screaming baby, you run all day at the speed of light and
Every day you feel a little bit less, like always the beautiful woman you are.

Those walls also had the front row seat to the breaking of my heart,
I thought the pain was here to stay, but forgiveness made a way.
I remember running down the hallway, playing hide and seek
I didn’t know that I was searching for someone to notice me.
I felt so alone and undiscovered, and now I am old enough to understand.

Just when I am supposed to be listening, I let you down so many times.
I just keep counting the ways I have let you down,
But no matter how many times I messed things around,
You were always patient to hold me down
And you taught me the ways of dealing with that could have taken me down.

I have reached a stage in life where I am strong on my two own feet,
I now have only one thing left to do, that’s to fulfill all that you have seen me to be
While you struggled to get me through, I sometimes really wonder how?

You were there when we took our first steps, and went unsteadily across the floor.
You pushed and prodded: encouraged and guided, until our steps took us out the door,
You worry now Are they ok?, Is there more you could have done?
Where we are is where you have led us, with your special love you showed us a way,
To believe in ourselves and the decisions we make.

Taking on the challenge of life day-to-day, and where we go you can be sure,
In spirit you shall never be alone.
For where you are is what matters most to us, Because to us that will always be home...

Feeling Nostalgic

It was Ash Wednesday, just another day for me, when i woke up , got ready for my class, sat in the car and drove away.  Never did i have a slight hint that this day would make me feel all so Nostalgic and connect to my past and cleanse me of all the wrong doings and the steps which i had trodden knowingly or unknowingly.

It was a moment after class , it wasnt me who decided to step into God's abode and spend a few minutes at peace. Education is what makes a person different from all the others. My parents had given me the best, and the school was a christian missionary school in the now hustling town of Hyderabad. I had learnt to respect, learnt to pray, learnt to give, learnt to be gentle and of all learnt to be the best a human can be. It was all uploaded into me (using more of a technical term) over the 10 years of education i had.

And this day, brought back to me all the memories which i had somewhere down there in my heart. It was an instant feeling to just step into the church and spend a few moments looking at him and it gave me a glimpse into the past i had lived in harmony and at peace. It created a bridge between the good past and the present i was walking on , which was broken down over the last few years and i never realized it.

But the feeling of being holy and blessed and the feeling of connecting to my past makes me  alive and even more stronger. It was a miracle that happened and made me to go in there and feel Nostalgic, and yet again the sweetness was there with me all through. When i think of how i went in, how i sat in peace and how it made me feel all nostalgic. Then realized you were there too and i smiled to myself.

2000 days under the full moon

For some love is to be there and to do things, to praise them often and buy them costly things. For others it to do crazy things, to go places and get lost in a timeless embrace. But most often we forget the fact that love is always and has been forever timeless and unconditional. The moment you start weighing your options and you start thinking about alternatives, the moment you start weighing the pro’s and con’s of being with someone, pop goes the bubble and you are all drenched in ego and attitude.

I have seen and also experienced things as such and it is a very painstaking phase to go through, unless you have a strong will and a strong reason to be thinking of while you go through it alone. I have seen people taking things easy and moving on, I have also seen a few blocking themselves from the entire world. Friends are around and your family is always there to support you in every way, why not share it with them? Well most of us don’t, that’s again a phase where the ego strikes back. But how many of us have tried letting oneself go , setting the spirit free and just opening out with someone whom you trust the most,  or someone who makes you feel comfortable all through.  Guess most of us don’t.

Well this is about the 2000 days I spent under the full-moon and though it to be all heavenly and god sent. Hmmmmm not until I saw how frost-bitten one feels on a windy, cold night having to stare at the moon all along. It’s so easy to be deceived by how beautiful the moon looks until you start noticing it and you suddenly see the moon spots or the dark spots on it. This is about him, the friend I had written about and mentioned how he wanted to turn a new leaf and give his life a new portal to pass through and fresh waters to swim. He had let his life to take a turn and be churned enough and by the time he could notice the change, he had lost most of what he had cherished in life and the people those who were in his life. He was blindfolded to such an extent that he could not see beyond the dark veil covering his eyes. By the time he realized everything was over.

He then met a few good friends those who put some brain into him, and then he began to see life the way it was before to him. Not completely though, it was still foggy and he needed more friends than before, as he had lost quite a few. It was this intense battle he always fought with himself and he used to get messed up and taken down most of the time. N then one fine day, he felt blessed. He had got a friend who would listen to almost anything and everything he would want to say. N then things started to change, from bad to good, from stress to de-stress, from clouds to clear sky. The friend was indeed God sent is what he felt. He was so at peace with the world, he had changed completely and on asking he said this friend was so calm and composed and so mature in thoughts and actions. There was always something to the way he was given an assurance or a reply which had a really strong and long lasting impact. Apart from all these teeny weeny things, there was this charm to her and her ways of making things understand in relaity. Never had he known or he had ever opened up so much to anyone that he felt the burden over his shoulders lighten up and he had a very out of this world kind feeling.

With eyes deep and brown, when you look into them you just drown.
A smile so warm, you just melt even when she is angry and frowns.
A patient listener and the more you talk and share, life seems pretty fair.
No doubt the best things happen, when you least expect them to come in your way,
Every time I speak to you, a strange sense of excitement takes me over,
What’s it to you and your personality?, it really makes me wonder in every way.
Everything to you just makes you so perfect, or is it just me with that percept.
You are just so mystical and the more I interact the more I feel being healed,
The essence you carry about life, which you make me realize,
It gets into me in a jiffy, and it makes me go all alive.
There’s a strange divinity that radiates from you,
which just gets things going, for those who believe and trust in you.
Yet you never really open up with anyone, and I happened to be the lucky few,
who got to know completely about you.
I am not sure if I share a special space in your life,
but you will is what I am forever sure in my life.
I wish our friendship stays the same and grows older and better with time, just as wine.
N I am yet to discover and define the sense of feeling you invoke when not on my mind,
but there is still time for me to make sense to what’s so divine.
You ended the pain and the agony I had, being under the full moon most of the times,
With me wondering where my life would get me to, during all those unsure times.
You are truly an angel sent from above, who set my life on the success path. :)

LIFE AS WE KNEW IT!

Well things have been going good. So far so good. My final semester's just begun, a pretty good reason to keep me busy and going with my classes, assignments, internship, part-time uffff!! I know its hectic. Well if you remember i had posted a few weeks ago about a friend and how he turned over a new leaf, leaving behind his past after the break up. So we finally got to meet up again after a month's time.

We went shopping to a mall and came across this Pakistani Guy, an elderly person i must say, somewhere in his mid 40's and he struck a conversation with us standing in line to get his shirts billed. He asked us about what we do and what our future was, and he then introduced himself as a painter from Pakistan; came to the USA and settled down a decade ago. He told us about the places he had worked and about the people he had worked for. He said Indians were very warm hearted and that they were very friendly, loving and caring despite the fact that he was from a country we have been fighting for years. He expressed his love toward's India and how he wished he could visit the country once. We then heard a voice say 38 dollars and 59 cents. It was his turn to pay and move on. So did we and while driving to find a place to eat, we pondered over what he had said, friendly, loving and caring. hmmmmmmm. Well a person, we did not know, or never even had a slight clue of his existence interacted with us and was sweet because we were Indian's was it?? Hmmm i don't think so, well maybe we were being too judgmental.

We landed at an unreasonably hip restaurant, where we sat at the bar while we waited for our table. There was a girl sitting at the bar next to my friend, and she was grabbing some dinner after just getting off a shift at the restaurant next door and waiting for some coworkers to get off work. She initiated conversation and my friend and I instantly clicked with her, not just because she was a charismatic chick, but because there’s one thing that  girls can always connect over regardless how well they know each other: boys (and in some cases, how over them we are). I have always admired how without pouring out her soul to someone, a girl can use just the right words to express her frustrations with a guy, but have no idea how to answer a question as simple as, “Where should we grab dinner?” Well this was exactly what happened to us, thank God, we were given our table and we got to move away from her and escape from being eaten hungry, by her curses on her boyfriend.

Like those songs that can make you sad despite the fact that you were perfectly content before they came on. Like the dresses in your closet you’ve never worn and will probably never wear but make you feel like there’s hope that someday there’ll be an occasion to wear them to, hope that there’ll be a person to wear them alongside. Like the way pouring rain hits your shoulders harder than the rest of your body. There’s comfort in the things you know for certain, but more importantly, it’s in knowing things for certain where comfort is born.

I have always wondered and pondered, over the few intricate moments we spend in happiness when we grow up to be someone who could earn and support another person in whose hands we trust our entire future. Feelings, love, care, friendliness; aren't these all positive forms of what one feel's in spite of the high's and low's he has to go through his life and yet end up with a conclusion about what you might feel or understand about someone or a group of individuals. Humans are a weird race, you have what you always wanted, you have enjoyed what you have wanted to, yet the thirst can never be quenched, more than the positive things in life, we often run after things that we can never get to, we can never satisfy and neither can we make sense to after achieving it.

If things haven't made sense yet, well i mentioned about the Pakistani guy, because in spite of the wars we have been fighting with Pakistan, he as an individual had no complaints, no regrets and instead ended up praising us and complimenting us for what we were as a country. While this girl we met at the restaurant, kept complaining about how her boyfriend was a bore, he had lost his job, and she has to work overtime to support them both. But never did she peep into the past and look at one single moment which they have lived happily. When it comes to loosing out on luxuries and loosing out on things which entice us more than those who are responsible for having given them to us, we forget the relation, the value and the happiness in it even before that thing existed.

Maybe it’s because there’s something that satiates us about trying to explain something that we know isn’t really definable, but some of us just find comfort in trying to figure all of it out, even though all they want is a love that’s far from logical. Ironically, most of us crave a love that surpasses descriptions, that essentially cant be described, but use words and logic to get there…and then we wonder why haven’t found that love yet. So is everything to do with life. Not until can we make sense to the life we lived, we can never ever make sense to what we expect in future because that is the Life as we knew it. Adios.

A heart is all you need.

My previous posts had tremendous page views. It really inspires me to write more. :) Thanks once again. This is something i had in me for quiet sometime, and will try to make sense to what i have to say; because its really tough to explain something that you cant even understand yourself. I have had this in me for quiet sometime, but may be because of the happenings in the past or the fears and the nightmares they have been giving me, i never really realized this. For the first time i opened up to a friend of mine, a really sweet and sober person, who explained the ways of life and her words were so magical and mysterious that even now when i go through our interactions everything is just simple and plain knowledge, but one must feel it to believe it and absorbt it into you. I had a very good feeling pouring things out, because the only other person who had given me such a feeling was you Abhijeet( my buddy, by bro from my schooling). :)

Things happen and you don't even realize until you pause, take time for yourself, share it with someone whom you trust the most and then the clouds clear and behold you see the Sun shining bright. A friend of mine confessed to me about her loving a colleague. Then we discussed about love and life and the same things that everybody knows. But what i then realized is that love had become too materialistic. There wasn't anything magical to it. It can be easily said that most humans crave love. People are born to give and receive love, and in fact, love is said to be the emotion responsible for most of the things that people do and say. And, unless you are one of those rare people who don’t feel anything at all, you can probably relate to needing the connection in your life, as well.
I watched the movie New Year's Eve which portrays love in a very different way. Love is loving your dad, your mom, your kith and kin. Love is also looking into the eyes of that someone who understand your look, who is always there to walk that extra mile and pamper you, sweet talk you, tease you, mock at you, be the shoulder to your worries and of all love you in spite of the negativity in you. Most people can easily relate to a sad romantic story that was supposed to last forever, but it didn’t, instead it ended badly. Most of us have experienced the same type of heartbreak others experience, at least once in our lives, if not more. So when a person hears about a tragic ending to a love story – or sees a sad love movie – they automatically makes a connection with the person, or actor, she/he most relates to in regard to their own experiences. This also helps a person see that broken hearts are common to most, and helps us realize we are not alone, we haven’t been singled out for punishment. Bad things happen to us all, we just have to keep moving on. Have hope that one day your story will have a happily ever after.

I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into the room, look into your eyes and smile at you. Its a feeling not described in words or quantified or measured. It is something mysterious and magical. I do not know what time will hold for me or how things might turn out to be. I have experienced things so mysterious over the few months but never paused to give it a thought. But now when i ponder over the experiences which i have let pass, i wonder if it was for real, if it was meant to be and if everything that's happened has happened for a reason. I want to take my time, to understand this feeling, let it sink it, think from my heart, not with my mind. Let it free, to run wild, and experience this feeling. I have held it back enough, changed enough and sacrificed enough, but i do not regret, for what i did was by my own will , not destiny and what i shall pursue now is also by my own will. I chose to be the maverick always and shall always be one.

She makes me feel so wild and free, yet there is a dark side; I don’t want to be taken for a ride. I get so lost when I gaze into her eyes, i feel the sparks of fire, But is this love? Could she be the one for me? Only time shall tell me. Some where in the middle of those conversations, I Fell in Love with You. Being from strangers to friends, Then from gossip to sharing secrets, Don't know when I started liking You. From those arguments to fights, From those likes to dislikes. From laugh to cries, I did share many beautiful moments with You. Somewhere in the middle of those conversations, I Fell in Love with You!! And if it is really true, a heart is all that i need to tell you. :)

Thank You all!!

I have written a lot until recently and will keep doing so, would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and thank you my brother, relatives, friends, acquaintances and all the others whom i haven't event known, for all the page views you have been giving me. Especially to the one's from India, Russia and Thailand. Will keep writing more.

God rings in Help

Its been quiet a hectic weekend with Christmas and cousins. Had the best time ever. Never felt a single moment of missing my family back home in India. Back to NJ finally. :) So he too had a pretty good Christmas vacation. Had enough time to figure things out, he wanted to fix everything he had messed up with family, friends and loved ones over the last four years, i suddenly realized he never mentioned who was on call the other day. On asking he said, it was from a girl who had loved him in college. She was crazy and madly in love with him, but he never reciprocated neither did he think of her, as he was in a relation with the girl whom he though to be his life. Though he was telling me about how they met and why she happened to like him , all the while his tone was balanced, his eyes never twitched and his voice was strong and capturing. I knew he was serious and was not joking. I asked him , then why did she have to call you now? Does she still love you? Do you want to get things going with her? . His reply was a stern NO to every question i asked. Then he explained. When he was in college, the girl liked him but because he was in a relation he never wanted to interact with her, but as a friend, he kept reassuring himself, this cannot happen and he kept reminding the girl, he cannot be anything but friends. Even though they were friends he always shared things which he never could with anyone else, but when things went bitter , the only person who could make him understand and tell him the right approach was her. They were friends, they always have been and they will be friends forever. SO why did she call?? , She called to tell him he did the right thing, to let go. When someone treats you like an option then the only option you have is to let go. He said, she is happy now, she has finally found her man and i am happy for them too. They make the best couple ever. She advised him to move on and weed out all the hatred, heal the relationships he had to loose in order to be with someone who never knew the value of him in life. She asked him to speak to his parents about it all, pour his heart out and he shall fell better and rejuvenated. She asked him to make new friends, to find those who think like him, who understand him as a friend. He did all that and now, he is happy again, content and satisfied with the way his life was and his future though it seemed cloudy, he was ready to walk blindfolded for he had his people standing behind him, walking with him, ready to support him. I heard it all, and i asked are you happy, he looked into my eyes, smiled and said NOT YET. So why wasn't he happy??

Introverts!!

I have been working on the previous part - God rings in Help. But before that i found something really cool. About me and about people like me. Read on!!
Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.
Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.
Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.
Myth #4 – Introverts don’t like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.
Myth #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.
Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.
Myth #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.
Myth #7 – Introverts are weird.
Introverts are often individualists. They don’t follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don’t make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.
Myth #8 – Introverts are aloof nerds.
Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.
Myth #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.
Myth #10 – Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.
A world without Introverts would be a world with few scientists, musicians, artists, poets, filmmakers, doctors, mathematicians, writers, and philosophers. That being said, there are still plenty of techniques an Extrovert can learn in order to interact with Introverts. (Yes, I reversed these two terms on purpose to show you how biased our society is.) Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.
It turns out introverts comprise only about 25% of the population. Hoooray! I finally made it into a minority! I want special “rights”! Credits to Metaphysicalperegrine blog

She said, He said and she knows it all now.

He came to me, he poured it all out, he had tears in his eyes and all he could say was "i am filled with misery, pain and sorry, i have had enough, cannot take this anymore". I advised, look deep inside, do you trust her, do you believe her, do you still yearn for her?. He said, yes i do, but that her is in me, not out there whom i see. It was all over that very second. He had called her enough times, she never responded. He had heard enough from people around, but when he went to see her and saw the smile on her face and the proximity she was in with him, he was shattered. He cursed himself before me, for having got into something he never should have. It was always his fault, he let himself be used, utilized and taken advantage of all the time. He was alone responsible for what his life looked like now. He said, she never realized the importance of it, she never even cared what was in store for them in future, all she cared for was to live this present moment. I slapped him hard, and said she was not worthy of it. She was not worthy of any second he had thought of her, spent with her and felt for her. He has to let go. Yes he has to. It was time to move on. It was time to mend his ways, his life and his future. There was something better coming up. Just when he was about to say no, the phone rang. He saw the name, he had a puzzled look on his face. He didn't want to answer it, so let it ring. It rang again and this time he looked at me. Instantly i knew he wanted to be left alone. I walked out, and after about 15 minutes he called me in. He said you were right. God listens to me. I asked was it her, he said no; gave a long pause and said it was a long lost friend and i got the reply to what i was thinking of. He got up from the sofa, but now more courageous, i could see his shoulders unburdened and he had the confidence and faith in the future. There seemed to be a glow on his face , i asked him if he was alright and he replied "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and realize that prisoner was you." It struck me then, he had forgiven her, he knew not what had happened and knew what was in store, he let go of all the worries and they trouble him no more. His every step was more confident and his eyes were sparkling with the will of God and the might of his forgiveness. I then knew what he had been through. Now he left me wondering who the call was from and who was that messenger of God. Coming soon.... God rings in help!! :)

More to what she did not know

He waited all this while, patiently and yet lost his cool at times. But like in any relation there are things sweet and bitter, just like yin and yang to balance things in life. He was rude, she was sweet. Times when she was rude, he was sweet. They balanced everything with patience and healed everything with Love. But when everything was going the right, God has his own rules to test everything in its own way. He threw one such rule and things messed up. This time they were not aware of the consequences and like always both ended hurting each other. It was pain which both felt but not of their own but of each others. They were taken over by pain and grief and it was time again for them to get a balance. He never wanted to let go of her but she kept slipping away. Every time he asked her to be careful she mistook it to be over possessive. He was there to hold her in every fall she had. He still is. I hope she realizes his love, his care, his pain, his anger, his jealousy, his lust, his belief, and over all his trust in her. Life is a concoction of all this and with this they make life wholesome. He still waits for her to land in his arms and be safe and engulfed in his warmth. If only...... I leave this line incomplete for them to realize and learn this. hmmmmmm... I pray for them like all the others close to them do.

Things she never knew and never will know ;)

He has been speaking about things called feelings, love, affection, relation but all these point out to a person or a group of persons with whom you he was connected to in an immense bond which nobody can ever give an explanation to. Since time immemorial people have always tried to explain these feelings in every way possible, but none of these are content to make u understand what it really means. There was one such person in his life. She showed him love in all the ways he could ever get. She took care of him like a baby, gave him everything he always wanted but then things started fading away and but the time he could realize what was going wrong, it was late. He cries in darkness and in the rain, the pain's sweet as its filled with her memories and love but the longing is forever. Her hair, the soft long silky strands which just slip off his fingers, her eyes so bright, like sunshine which always kept him warm and showed him the right way to tread on. Her smile so sweet, that even if you take your last breath, you would feel like sleeping on an angel's lap. Her smile is a gently curved line which always set things straight for him. Its been quite long that they have been into this together, time just ceases to move and the world never exists in their presence and when she speaks its like the oldies love songs playing to him in her eyes. Oh they made such a lovely pair. If only they could realize what has happened and get back to where they begun. Even the God's would despise their love and their pair, they were such good in every way.

The Unreasonable reason...

This is an extract from a blog of a person whom i have always cherished reading whatever she writes. This one was written a few years ago, yet catches the eye and makes complete sense about everything. :) Read on.. "there are reasons behind everything that happens; and there must be reasons behind every actions of ours". universal thought i suppose. but i got to know of a better than the best "thought-replacement" for the latter part when i attended a workshop(kind of personality development) where they said that we must not underline our actions/decisions with reasons.. might sound a bit weird; but it sure includes a more practical concept rather than a philosophical one.. reasons are not always global;most of them are user-defined; hence the actions based upon these reasons might not result in the pre-planned way, which leads to disappointment and discouragement..
earlier i used to think that hostel life was more fun and lot cooler [before my hostel life ofcourse ;)] and i had my reasons. few were: 1. free from mom's scoldings 2. end of curfew rules 3. a feel of responsibility, doing all the maintenance works on my own.. and many more.. but when my hostel life started, things were different.. 1. it is really difficult to get used to scoldings and advices from strangers..unless they are from parents 2.responsibility..huh!! leave me out of this one; and maintenance..god!!one hell my room was. 3.and finally..rules everywhere and in everything.. thus, all my reasons came crashing down.. and all i did was to grit my teeth when faced with the damned rules, group moans and complaints and weekend escapes to gran's place.. not a memorable experience.. but some of my friends are really fine with hostel life even after two years..and that must be only because they considered hostel just as a boarding place to study, unlike me who had reasons for choosing hostel life among other alternatives.. just a real-time example.. to be without reasons has deeper reasons actually.. making decisions..just because u think it is the right way to do and not for some existing facts.. liking someone and being friends..just because u choose to do and not for any other reasons.. there might be lot of reasons to cry, to fight, to misunderstand, to go to depressions, etc.. but instead.. why dont we just smile, understand and accept, feel positive, and spread peace and happiness..without a single reason.. sounds heavenly..rite!! without any reasons. . :)

What makes someone so special!!

Its been 24 years since i stepped into this world.. Mom, Dad always protecting me from wind, shower or sun. A lovely kid brother whose always naughty but loving. Good friends to keep you company, Abhi, Yousuf, Aldin, Ibad, Nagarjuna hhhhhmmm in fact many to name. But what makes someone so special to someone. Well mom and dad, you are special to them as a kid as their own blood. So is with a brother or a sister. Friends?? Well i guess its the bond that one shares, happiness, sorrow, good, bad.. hhhhhmmm guess i really cannot justify this but one thing that keeps me wondering the most is the bond one shares with someone you love. Its so weird isn't it, you meet a person, speak to them for a few hours, share a few things and all of a sudden you fall for them. I mean whats this that people call as chemistry?? How does it exist? where does it begin and how does it begin.. whats that tiny thing that makes someone so special to you that you start to believe them so blindly , even more blindly than the ones who brought you into this world??... Well it just keeps me wondering...
